Intellectual Property Litigation
Mr. Jaros has devoted a substantial part of his litigation practice to intellectual property matters. His representative experience includes prosecuting and defending against patent and copyright infringement suits on behalf of pharmaceutical clients, as well as prosecuting an antitrust action based on an "objectively baseless" patent infringement suit. Mr. Jaros handles all aspects of litigation, including managing discovery, briefing and arguing motions, deposing fact and expert witnesses, preparing expert reports, and conducting direct and cross examinations at injunction hearings and at trial.
Complex Commercial Litigation
Mr. Jaros also has significant experience representing clients in a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, class actions, unfair competition and trade secret misappropriation matters, mass tort, and employment disputes. He has acted as lead counsel in a federal civil rights case and as second-chair in multi-million dollar contract and trade secret cases. Mr. Jaros has successfully obtained and defended against preliminary and permanent injunctions and has successfully argued for the dismissal of his client in an employment dispute.
Previous Experience
Prior to joining RMMS, Mr. Jaros was an associate at Holland & Hart LLP and Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
